Admission Rules

1. Students seeking admission to the various courses may apply on the prescribed application forms obtainable from the college office on a payment of Rs. 100/- in cash. Application Form and Prospectus can also be obtained by sending an amount of Rs. 130/- by money order, Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Principal, M.K. Saboo P.G. College of Commerce, Pilani.
2. Application Forms complete in every respect for admission to B.A., B.Com. or P.G. classes must be submitted in the college office by the prescribed date with an amount of Rs. 100/- as registration fee. Incomplete application forms will be rejected.
3. Admission to the various courses will be made strictly in accordance with the rules prescribed by the University of Rajasthan and the Director, College Education, Jaipur.
4. Last date for submission of application forms for admission to B.Com. & B.A. courses is 20-6-2016. Forms can be submitted upto 27-06-2016 with a late fee of Rs. 50. Last date for submission of Application form for M.A. Courses is 27-06-2016 without late fee & 30-06-2016 with late fee of Rs. 50. In cases where the results of the qualifying examinations have been delayed, application forms can be submitted within fifteen days of the declaration of the results and with a late fee of Rs.50/- within next 7 days. However, in case some seats remain vacant after the expiry of the last date the date for submission of application forms may be extended as per the instructions received from the Director, College Education, Jaipur.
5. Students applying for admission in more than one faculty are required to submit separate application forms for each faculty. Once a student has been admitted in one faculty his/her request for change of faculty will not be entertained under any circumstances.
6. The number of seats in each optional subject will be fixed by the Principal. Allotment of the optional subjects will be made strictly in accordance with the merit of the candidates.
7. Normally requests for change of the optional subjects after admission are not entertained. However, under special circumstances, the Principal may consider requests for change of optional subjects within 15 days of admission on a payment of Rs.100/-
8. Candidates selected for admission are required to deposit the prescribed fee within the notified period of time failing which their admission will stand cancelled.
9. Application forms for admission must bear the signature of the candidate and his/her guardian. Application forms without these signatures will be rejected.
10. Responsibility for the submission of incomplete application forms, supply of incorrect information or false statements rests upon the candidate, which may lead to rejection of the application form. Parents/guardians will be responsible for the fair conduct and financial obligations of their wards. It is desirable that they should keep abreast of the academic progress of their wards.
11. The students falling under the following categories will not be considered for admission under any circumstances: (a) The old students of this college whose work and conduct were found unsatisfactory during the previous year. (b) The students who appeared in the university examination as non-collegiate students and have obtained less than 50 percent marks. (c) The students who failed in their university examinations cannot be admitted in the same class as regular students. They may, however, be allowed to attend the classes on payment of an annual fee of Rs.10,000/-. Such students will take their university examination as ex-students.
12. The Principal has the right to reject any application for admission without assigning any reason.
     

Documents required to be submitted:

A. For old students (seeking admission in the next higher class)-Two photostat copies of the self attested Marks Sheet.

B. For new students-Two copies each of the following self attested documents.

• Marks Sheet of the qualifying examination.
• Transfer Certificate issued by the institution last attended.
• Character Certificate issued by the Principal/Headmaster of the institution last attended.
• Certificates for participation in InterSchool/College, Inter-University games and sports meet/cultural meets etc.
• Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/O.B.C. Certificate.
• Certificate in support of the privilege/advantage claimed by the students in the application forms such as handicapped students, dependents of ex-soldiers etc. issued by the competent authorities.
